Quotes:

Robert: “Media SPACs are getting slammed with this because of how much they are getting pulled out of the room. This is the problem with media or any SPAC, which is why these companies haven’t gone public yet. Some of it doesn’t have to do with the fact that they don’t have the complexities to take themselves public. Some of it’s that they are just not ready.”  (21:38)

Joe: “If you look at how the most successful Twitch streamers work, they don’t just stream anytime they want. They have a schedule… What I saw in Clubhouse, it was all over the place.”  (31:14)

Joe [to Robert]: “You’ve always said [social audio] was a feature.”(33:24)

Robert: “The interesting part of Clubhouse was always the red carpet, the bouncer standing in your way while the cool kids had shows… I don’t need to go to Clubhouse to hear some chucklehead talk about crypto.” (34:02)

Joe: “You know why I like the BeReal app? They have 3M active users right now. They are just slow and steady. They are not going crazy. They are not opening up to everybody. I think they are going to do really well.” (38:07)

Robert: “It’s not going to work out that well for anybody… The problem is that they don’t get Google size traffic… You start to see the money won’t be what they think it might be.”  (46:40)

Robert: “Why didn’t they go in the most obvious and coolest direction here? Give me a search engine for marketers.”(50:31)
