Apple's new privacy update could hinder the growth of email newsletters. Or maybe not. In other news, Facebook launches a Substack while Twitter's new subscription program sings the blues.
Apple unveiled their new privacy policy this week. Among the features is an ability not to track open rates in email newsletters. The boys think this is bad for ecommerce and advertising and good for long-form email newsletters.
Facebook announced their Substack killer, called Bulletin, in their fight to slowly manipulate more content creators to the platform.
And of all the new products Twitter has announced, the first one to launch is Twitter Blue, a program that will do not one bit of good for anyone (not that we're opinionated or anything).
